Four seasons of loneliness by TodirutVlad Four seasons of loneliness by TodirutVlad
Finally done.. after 1 and a half year of waiting..i've finished.
started with the summer picture last year but i had some problems on the way so i wasn't able to take the autumn picture in the same year.

Pictures were taken at my grandparent, this was the tree that made me love photography more, it appeared in Photo Magazine(Romanian publication) in a contest with the theme "tree".. that was a step forward for me,

spring, summer, autumn, winter, the four seasons ,same tree, and in very small difference of angle

Over the course of 50 years, a single tree can generate $31,250 of oxygen, provide $62,000 worth of air pollution control, recycle $37,500 worth of water, and control $31,500 worth of soil erosion.

The full view looks much better

Enjoy

Ty all for the comments and favs

Wow, this is really an amazing piece!

And to have so much patience to fullfill a vision you had when taking the first picture.... That's gorgeous, really.

I guess I would have died halfway through just from waiting for the next season to finally start.

And really every single shot is amazing itself. I love the perspective you've chosen. And the title... Seeing these four pictures togethe with the title... maybe even without... it makes me feeling lonely myself. Also I am feeling sorry for this tree, being on it's own through every weather and season.

There is really a lot of emotion and atmosphere clinging to the shots.

This is seriously one of the coolest and most inspiring pictures I've seen in a long time. I admire your determination, I wouldn't even dare or think of doing something like that, especially when I'd have to wait for more than a year. =] You must have payed a lot of attention to the angle of the first picture to take the others almost exactly in the same angle! I'm in awe. I just love it, not to mention that the light and everything on the photos are great. Okay, I'll stop talking now, I must be annoying you. :aww:

Thanks, glad you like it.
And yes it took a lot of time and determination, but as i told someone else be4, it helps if you are satisfied with the first picture. When i took the first picture i didn't think about making a "four seasons", so i didn't focus too much on the angle. The tricky part was with the other 3 pictures.
I'm thinking about making another 4 seasons (this time with a better camera and a better view), and lets hope it comes out ok.
I appreciate the comment.(and u didnt annoy me)

Thanks

Damn. A tree just got older. Hahah.
Really great, just like everyone else, I'm amazed by the almost perfect same angle for all four seasons. That's some true perseverance observed there.

Thanks, glad you liked it. It took a long time to finish this, but i'm happy with the results.
It also helped that some people liked the first picture (summer) that i took at this tree, made me move on with the project.
Thanks

why not try something like a lake or .. maybe even a rock that has moss that grows and dies throughout the seasons .. doesnt have to be a tree! Whatever you pick Im sure the work will be awesome :boogie:
